Another Night On the Town!

DuddieCat back again,

Dec 18th, 2008

I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I'm all dressed up in my best suit and my bling is sparklin like a million tiny points of starshine. I'm a "made man" alright. I am the top cat, the big cheese, King of the forest and don't I know it. Oh me mates! I'm strutting, my pride, and I'll take the best perch. Whereever there is a fencepost, the high-ground? I'll be there.

Tonight, I will leave the spraying to the others. I'm solid gold and they'll know it without the extra dose of cologne. Besides, I dashed on a little "Le Refreshing Paws" and you know that the ladies can smell me a block away.

A song keeps running through my mind, and it has my paws a tappin. You know those three boys who sing everything falsetto??

"Well you can tell by the way I swing my tail, I'm a tabby tom, no time ta yell"

Oh yeah, mates, that's me and no doubts about it. Time to show it and I'm off to AnthroXtacy to Rave!

The club is all neon and flashing lights. Everybody leaves their claws and fangs at the door here. It's not uncommon to see a siamese kitkat twisting with a fox out on the floor. The Wolf DJ kicks it and we are all spinning and gyrating like it was snowing catnip. Good times and I need to catch my breath.

I pick out a quite corner where I can watch the fur fly. Well here I am, settin pretty on the couch at the club, surrounded by the finest felines you would ever wanna see. When I say tail, I mean it!

And then she walks in and... oh mates! I'm telling you, the place went wild. She was a pint sized tabby with a purple coat that glistened and my head went stupid as a mouse under a paw. But I'm DuddieCat, the alpha tabby of the foxclaw clan, so I sucks it up good and push out my chest. I smooths back me whiskers and walk past her as is she isn't even there. (that always drives em crazy, never fails) Just as I pass, I feel the flick of her tail on me calf and swallow a smile big as a canary.

I lean back and tell her, "Don't make a fuss, mum, they'll all want one." I winks and a nod as I start to move on. She smiles slyly and says "maybe.. but maybe not" and then shes the one dancin away and I'm the one feeling like a kitten on the ass end of the mouse. But it's all good and soon we're dancing the night away.

Yup! Lifes good in the Tabbitarium. Till next time, Mates!
