Kitties Rescued!
Jasper (aka LittleKit)
Jasper's story never fails to make me angry. Ladygyrl was calling the kittens in to dinner when we heard a forlorn "meow". She called again, and was answered by the same sad meow. We tracked the sound to a Maine Coon apparently abandoned in a nearby field. The matted grass revealed that the poor animal had been waiting patiently for it's owners to return. We checked with neighbors to find an owner. Finally we took him in, fed and watered him. He has adjusted well to the tabbitarium.
There are hundreds of
thousands of cats like Lennox. Homeless, hungry, injured and prey
for larger or more vicious animals. Won't you please help us assist
